Berlin Tee Sew-Along

by Lindsay Crownhart

Day 2

November 29, 2018

I’m glad you are following along with us! Today is print out your pattern and choose your options day!

I have enjoyed seeing everyones fabrics. I think they will make some great shirts! One of the BEST and most talked about pieces of the Berlin Tee is the sheer amount of OPTIONS. Let’s review some of them here.

Shirt: Short sleeve, long sleeve, v-neck, classic, asymmetric hem

Extras: hoodie, zipper hood, thumbhole cuffs

You will need to decide WHAT you are making. If you decide to make a hoodie, then I’d recommend sizing up one or two sizes (but not in length). Personally I will size up 2 sizes for my boy because I know this will become a fav hoodie and I don’t want him to grow out of it too quickly. I am making an asymmetric hem, long sleeve zipper hoodie with thumbhole cuffs. I think I am also going to add in color blocking. 🙂 I will share how I plan to do that tomorrow!

In the facebook event, please share who you are sewing for and what options you have chosen to sew. Don’t forget the hashtag #berlinteeSALday2.

Here is my adorable 4 year old who I will be sewing for. He is wearing last years Dinkytown Beanie. Remember, if you join the Toby K Patterns facebook group, you can get a code for the beanie for free!

“Looking forward to hearing from you all!”
